“250 Years and Counting: Reckoning, Resilience, and Remembrance” Slave Dwelling Project Conference

Join the Slave Dwelling Project for its 9th national conference, October 1–3 in North Charleston, SC. In collaboration with the South Carolina 250th Anniversary Committee, the conference will explore South Carolina’s Black colonial history and the experiences, contributions, and resilience of African Americans throughout the nation’s history. The program will highlight efforts to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution by telling a more complete story of South Carolina’s past.
