Biography on Dr. Matilda Evans Wins Book Award
Dr. Walter Curry, Beverly Aiken Muhammad, and Anusha Ghosh, co-authors of the publication South Carolina’s Matilda Evans: A Medical Pioneer; have received a book award from the Afro-American Historical & Genealogical Society (AAHGS). The award, given at the 46th Annual AAHGS Conference in North Charleston, celebrate excellence in preserving and interpreting African American history and genealogy.
