Gullah Geechee Heritage Corridor Wins Funding
The Gullah Geechee Heritage Corridor has been
awarded funding from the African American
Cultural Heritage Action Fund through the
National Trust for Historic Preservation. The
funidng they receive will support the hiring of a
preservation director who will be instrumental in
creating the infrastructure needed to preserve the
corridor’s cultural heritage and lands.
