South Carolina Historic Black Schools Network Launch
On August 27, the newly public South Carolina Historic Black Schools Preservation Network (SCHBSPN) held a meet and greet, inviting preservation advocates, historians, and alumni associations of historic Black schools across the state to hear what the network can offer.
Facilitated through the Central Carolina Community Foundation, the group works to preserve, connect, and celebrate the legacy of historic schools, ensuring those schools remain sources of pride, learning, and connection within their communities.
