Green Book Publication
The Commission is in the process of creating a publication centered on South Carolina and the influence the historic Negro Travelers’ Green Book had on the state. The publication will be a series of essays that consider the historical, political, social, cultural, and economic contexts of the guide on travel and tourism to and through South Carolina.

SC Black Businesses in Green Book
This file includes all of the Black businesses that were listed in the historic Negro Motorist Green Book from 1937 to 1966-67. Gathered by the SCAAHC intern, this database serves as the foundation for research pertaining to the impact of the historic travel guide on Black travel and tourism.
