The Lowcountry Digital Library provides the public with free digital access to the Lowcountry’s historical and cultural archival collections. Our mission is to provide public access to the region’s archival collections to promote public knowledge among students and scholars as well as local and global communities. To accomplish this mission, LCDL partners with the South Carolina Lowcountry’s archives, libraries, and museums to digitize their physical collections and provide free public digital access to the materials.
