The Honorable Ojetta Rogeriee Thompson

A graduate of Brown University and Boston University School of Law, O. Rogeriee Thompson grew up in Greenville, South Carolina and her family has deep roots in the state. Since 2010, she has been a judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and is the first African-American and the second woman to sit on that court. Prior to her federal appointment, she was a member of the Rhode Island judiciary for over 21 years and before that, practiced law in Rhode Island for over a decade.
